About Us

UW Pre-Med Club is a student-run organization, for students of all faculties at the University of Waterloo, that provides assistance and networking opportunities for those interested in medicine and related careers.

UW Pre-Med Club is an excellent way to meet students with similar interests in medicine through a variety of socials, meetings, information sessions, and guest lectures throughout the fall and winter terms.

Benefits of Membership

As a member of the UW Pre-Med Club, you will have a variety of benefits, including:

• Networking with pre-med students of various backgrounds, with similar career interests in medicine.
• Invitations to guest lectures by counsellors, practicioners, etc.
• Information seminars to learn about medical schools, the application process, and volunteer and job opportunities.
• Resources to improve MCAT and interview skills.
• Discounts when registering for MCAT prep courses.

There are four ways to become a member:

• Visit our booth during FED Clubs Day at the beginning of every Fall and Winter term and express an interest in joining.
• Attend our meetings and express an interest in joining.

There is a $2/term membership fee that must be paid to enjoy all club benefits. This fee may be paid in person during FEDS Clubs Day or at our meetings.

The fee is collected to help recover operation costs of the club, for socials, guests, etc., and to help purchase materials to be shared among members.
